Book Groups

Book Groups are a great way to discover new books to read and meet new people.

Many Glasgow libraries have book groups – they meet once a month to discuss one or two books, supplied by the library service.

Book groups are free, relaxed and informal – joining one is a great way to meet other readers and discover new authors.

Where Can I Join A Book Group?

At Glasgow Libraries we are delighted to be joining the Hurricane Book Club in February 2017. We are looking forward to lots of discussion and enthusiasm from book loving Glaswegians, around the fantastic new titles.

Hurricane Book Club is a remote book club running online, in bookshops and libraries across Scotland with special events at Glasgow Libraries.

Local book club meetings will also take place at Glasgow Libraries.

Any reader, anywhere can join in -  just follow and participate in the discussion through Glasgow Libraries twitter account @GlasgowLib and the hashtag #HurricaneBookClub The Book Club meetings will be accompanied by a live broadcast and Twitter discussion.
