Coronavirus Update

All Glasgow Libraries are now closed in line with Government advice on reducing social contact.

While we are closed, you can still use your library card OR join the library to access our large collection of eBooks, eMagazines, eAudiobooks, eMusic and eResources.

During this period :

  • you will not be charged fines on any outstanding loans
  • we have suspended the ability to reserve items until we re-open the libraries
  • we will not be accepting returned items at any of our libraries
  • Please email Stock.Development@glasgowlife.org.uk

We are sorry for the inconvenience and disruption this will cause. Further updates will be posted here as soon as they are available.

Coronavirus (COVID-19): framework for decision making - Scotland's route map through and out of the crisis

The route map gives an indication of the order in which the Scottish Government will carefully and gradually seek to change current restrictions. It provides practical examples of what people, organisations and businesses can expect to see change over time. The phasing table will continue to be updated.
