A collection of pamphlets dating from the 19th century on a variety of topics, mostly concerning Presbyterianism and other religious topics. It also includes many titles on Scottish education and science as well as random topics such as "A Letter to the Lord Provost of Edinburgh on the best ways of spoiling the beauty of Edinburgh" by Lord Cockburn.
The collection was donated by the Rev. James Elder Cumming (1830-1917) of Sandyford Parish Church.
