Subjects include art, architecture, business, engineering, history, languages, politics, philosophy, mathematics and the sciences. The world’s largest online family history resource and the best place to build a family tree, find new ancestors, search historical records and share discoveries with family. During the temporary library closure period, we can offer partial access to Ancestry remotely for library members. Unfortunately licensing issues mean that we are unable to offer full access to Ancestry. Please follow this link for access to electoral registers for Glasgow for the years 1857-1962. You will need to create a free registered guest account, providing an email address and password and accepting the terms and conditions of the website.
