The Scottish Government has revised the guidance for public to enable them to re-open for essential PC and internet access only, in areas currently within level four of the Government’s strategic framework for managing Covid-19.
From Tuesday 23 March, the following 10 Glasgow libraries will re-open to the public to allow customers to access the computers: Bridgeton, Drumchapel, Gorbals, Ibrox, Library at the Bridge (Easterhouse), Partick, Pollokshaws, Possilpark, Royston and Shettleston A free, pre-booked appointment is required to use the library computers. Customers wishing to book PC access can do so either by calling or visiting one of the 10 libraries during opening hours. You can find contact details for all 10 libraries here
PC sessions are limited to 60 minutes, to cope with anticipated demand. The 10 libraries will be open for free computer access only. Customers will be unable to borrow books or retrieve reserved items. You can find out more about booking PC access in Glasgow libraries here
