Theodore Boone : the fugitive

Fast paced, and tying up some of the loose ends from earlier stories. Yet it ends on a cliffhanger. Whilst aimed at the junior market, these are engrossing tales, and I know of at least a couple of adult Grisham fans who are enjoying them. I still want to know the secret of Ike's past, but I suppose it is realistic that not everything gets tied up in a neat bow. Sometimes we have to accept that we'll never get to the bottom of some mysteries. Or perhaps we will - in the next book. The only other little niggle is with names. Miss Garman becomes Mrs Garman and then changes back. Mr Sasstrunk appears as Mr Sasstruck - probably just a typo, but it should have been spotted. My inner beta reader gets irked. Nevertheless, I'm glad I read the stories, and would recommend them.
